Sumeroot is an all-natural, luxury healthcare brand aimed at Gen Z and Millennials who suffer from chronic pain disorders, as they are the most afflicted age group. The brand aims to fill a hole in the health and wellness market whilst educating and highlighting chronic pain as an invisible disability.

The primary visual inspiration for the brand identity is the art of Mesopotamia, referencing the origin of natural pain relief, combined with contemporary references from traditional Middle Eastern architecture and typography. This can be seen through the brand logotype, which takes inspiration from Middle Eastern calligraphy combined with natural and ornamental line work, whilst the brand colour palette takes inspiration from Mesopotamian ceramic and sculpture. The illustrative elements reference ancient depictions of The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, a hidden wonder of the world, paralleling the existence of chronic pain disorders whilst emphasising the natural origin of the brand products.
